Here are the natural and traditional treatment for healthy hair that you can make at home.

  1. Green Tea Hair Mask

Prepare 2 green tea bags and 2 or 3 cups of hot water. After that you steep two green tea bags in the hot water and wait until the water cools down. You have to remove the tea bags, so only the brown water that already have tea content in the cup. Rinse your hair and massage the solution over your scalp. Use this green tea solution after applying shampoo and conditioner to your hair. For the best result, repeat the procedure twice a week.  You have to know that green tea can stimulate hair follicles and boost hair production. It also increases the metabolism process and the rate of hair growth. If you have hair fall problem, this is the best solution for you.

  1. Coconut Oil Massage

Prepare 1 until 2 table spoons of virgin coconut oil. Start the process by slightly warming the oil and putting it into a small bowl. Then gently apply the oil to your scalp and the hair roots. Massage in small and circular motions. For the best result, you can either leave the oil on around 30 minutes or overnight and shampoo as usual. For your information, coconut oil contains antioxidants that strengthen hair and give a natural sheen. It also has antimicrobial properties that heal scalp infections. But you should be careful while using this oil. Wash your hair within a day of applying the oil, because your hair would appear greasy and can attract dust and dirt as well if you don’t do it. For alternative solution, you can also use almond, olive, and amla oils. Olive oil can improve the elasticity of the hair, so it will prevent hair from breakage. Almond and amla oils prevent hair loss and make it stronger too.

  1. Egg White Hair Mask

Prepare 2 eggs or only 1 egg and 1 tea spoon of olive oil. There are 2 methods that you can do. Here are the explanation of each method.

  • Method 1

Break the eggs in a bowl, then separate the yolks from the egg white because we only need the white. Mix the egg white thoroughly till you get a thick and even consistency. It is better to use a hair dye brush and apply the egg white to your scalp and hair. Cover your head with a shower cap around 20 minutes. Then you should rinse with cool water and use mild shampoo.

  • Method 2

Take the egg white and mix it with a tea spoon of olive oil and mix them to make a paste.  Apply to all over your scalp and hair. Leave it around 15 to 20 minutes. Then rinse off with cool water and use mild shampoo. For the best result, you should repeat the remedy twice a week. Eggs are a rich source of protein, B vitamins, and essential nutrients for optimum hair health.

  1. Potatoes

Prepare 1 potato, 1 tea spoon honey, and 1 teaspoon water. You have to wash the potato thoroughly and peel the skin. You have to cut it into small pieces and put them in a blender to get the puree. You should add a little amount of water to the puree if it’s too thick. Then strain the puree into a bowl using a muslin cloth and it will give you the potato juice. Add a tea spoon of honey and water into the juice, then mix well. Apply the mixture to your scalp and hair around 30 minutes. The last is wash off with a mild shampoo. For the best result, you do this once a week. For your information, potatoes contain potassium, vitamin C, and iron which are vital for maintaining hair health.  A potato has a deficiency of potassium could lead to hair loss. So if you have a hair loss problem, this solution is the best for you.
