Braids are the way to modify long hair in order not to make bored people around you and yourself. Braids become summer’s coolest hair trend especially for long hair. But this one can be tried by middle length and short hair cut owner too. They will be more awesome with braids, no matter how long the hair or what the shape is. Here are some grown up twists and the instructions to wrap your head around. Do not worry to hunt for the perfect hairdo again, just check these out.
- Braided Crown
This braided crown really work for medium length to long hair. This version was created with French braids to make women with middle length to long hair more active in hot summer. It is easy to recreate it with regular braids, so everyone can do it by herself at home for any occasion especially for the formal one. The steps are separate hair into two low pigtails. Then braid both sections and secure with clear elastics to hold the braid. You have to pull one braid up over your head and use bobby pin as an inch back from your hairline. Repeat the steps on the opposite side and positioning the second braid behind the first. Voila the neat braid is ready!
- Flower Braid
This beautiful braid is really suitable for long hair, so longer hair is better. Why? Because we need to make a flower, so longer hair will really help the process. Here are the steps to make this style. Part the hair the way you like, then separate one inch section of hair at each temple and clip it out of the way. Gather the hair at the nape of your neck. Create two or three low braids and put clear elastics on the ends. Twist each braid until it curls into itself and use bobby pin in place. Last step is unclip and twist the two pieces by your temples and pin under the braided bun. For a slightly fancier flourish, you have to tuck the hair ends into the bun before securing them.
- Side Fishtail Braid
Again, this braid really works best with longer hair. Why? Because it needs a bit of texture for holding. If your hair is straight, it is better to give it some wave by winding one inch sections around a curling iron. Then, gather hair to one side in a low ponytail, don’t forget to secure it close to the base of your neck with a clear elastic. Next, you have to create a fishtail braid and separate the ponytail into two sections. First, hold one section with your other hand. Then, take a narrow strip of hair from the outside of the other section and bring it over to the one hand. Repeat this way, don’t forget to incorporate hair from one section into the other until the hair is running out. Remember to secure with another clear elastic, then carefully cut out the top elastic to give the braid a loose and casual look. For bohemian effect, you should gently pull the braid apart with your fingers.
- Side French Braid
If you have a short hair, don’t be sad because this style also works for short lengths. The step you should do is creating a deep side part. Then starting from the part and working toward the opposite temple. This French braid section of hair can be made about an inch wide along your hairline and stopping at the temple. Secure the braid with a clear elastic or bobby pins. Then you can style the rest of your hair as usual. Voila, you are ready to go!
- Braided Halo
Have you ever known about this braid style? Here are the steps to make this style. Separate the upper portion of medium length to long hair (from temples to crown) and clip it at top your head temporarily. You should take a small section at each temple and tightly French braid. You have to work back toward your crown and secure each braid with a clear elastic. Unclip the hair at your crown, then use one hand to hold this section up and the other to tease it at the roots. With a fine tooth comb, you make a little pouf. Then gently smooth over the teased portion with a paddle brush and anchor the braids to the bottom of the pouf with bobby pins.
